Integrated Monitoring System and Mobile

The system monitors the solar street lights in real-time and transmits every status of solar street lights.
SKT LoRa network is used for less data loss that can be caused by a wireless network. It can also secure high reliability and enable operation at a very low cost. The two-way system is applied to allow users to remotely control solar street lights instead of the one-way system that transmits data on solar street lights status.
Over 20 data on power generation, charging, discharge, etc. of street lights are transmitted and users can remotely control street lights based on their needs such as forcing to light on and off, reset, pause charting, etc.
The facility can be diagnosed using data received from solar street lights which allow advanced prevention of failures and inspection. When failure occurs, notification is sent via e-mail. Monitoring can be accessed using PC and mobile devices and the status of solar street lights can be viewed anywhere and anytime.

Lightness

The lightweight CIGS is especially useful in remodeling facilities and buildings where additional weight and/or strong wind load is important according to the characteristics of the building or structure.

Flexibility

CIGS can be attached to curved surfaces which gives the designer freedom in their design and the demand for aesthetical building-integrated PV (BIPV) is increasing.

Thermal resistance
(performance at high temperatures)

The thin-film flexible PV product provides better energy production in high module temperatures and warm climates. Module temperature can go up to 80°C outdoors. At this temperature, the thin-film PV product can produce up to 20% more electricity than the conventional crystalline PV module with identical power level.

Wind resistance

Safe from strong winds as BIPV is a building-integrated installation on the roof and the walls.

Glassless structure

When the photovoltaic system is installed on the ground, additional structure is not required if there are no glass attachments which reduces the total cost of the solar system.

Durability

Encapsulated in a UV stabilized weathering polymer, the durability of the CIGS product has been proven for a decade in the most extreme conditions such as satellite, ocean floats, and military applications.

Efficiency

The flexible thin-film PV product reaches high energy output in kWh per installed Wp compared to the conventional crystalline product.

Aesthetics

The integrated building and the beautiful exterior are aesthetically pleasing.

Shadow tolerance

CIGS has high light absorption in the blue wavelength range and provides excellent outdoor performance in lower light diffusion. The thin-film solar panels can supply power even when it is partially shaded (clouds, etc.) or stained.
